The only problem with being mostly through reading the first book of this series is that, when I dipped into the TV series The Shannara Chronicles (something that is a painful struggle), I couldn't help but look at Amberle Elessedil, Ander, Wil Ohmsford, and Eventine and think "Ugh, Lighteyes!"
