The Lighteyes is a person with lightly colored eyes such as blue or green. They are the ruling class in former Vorin Kingdoms such as Jah Keved, Alethkar and Thaylenah. Under the Vorin believes lighteyes considered chosen at birth by the Heralds, marked for rule.

In Alethkar, Lighteyes are classified by dahn, the higher the dahn the higher ranked one is. With tenth dahn, being almost as low as a darkeyes. 

Thaylenah has their own system of ranks.

Many darkeyes look at Lighteyes with disdain.

Palindrome are holy in the Alethi luangage, nobility will often change one letter to create a child's name to evoke the holy term, but not be blasphemous.^[2]
