Isasik Shulin is the Alethi royal cartographer. He re-created smaller copies of maps for Dalinar that hung in the Gallery of his present dwelling.[1]
Isasik rides with a large group of Navani's scholars and cartographers toward Narak at the center of the Shattered Plains to locate the Oathgate there.[2]
According to Nazh, the instructors in the Calligraphers Guild, especially the self-proclaimed calligro-cartographer Isasik Shulin, have repeatedly told him that it is futile to pick apart the phonemes from old glyphs.[3][4]
Personality[]
He seems to think highly of himself, ignoring the praise women riding beside him give the map drawn by Shallan of Stormseat from her infiltration of Amaram's manor.[2][5]
Notes[]
Isasik is named for artist and cartographer Isaac Stewart.
