Highprince of War is an antiquated title for an Alethi highprince who could command the combined armies of all other highprinces concurrently.[citation needed]
Dalinar demands that his nephew, Elhokar - King of Alethkar - make him the Highprince of War in response to the recently appointed Highprince of Information's betrayal of him and his bridge crew at the battle of the Tower on the Shattered Plains,[1] and he eventually succeeds.[2]
