Erraniv is an Alethi lighteyes in the warcamps on the Shattered Plains. He is a peer of Adolin's and a Shardbearer. His Shardplate is its natural color except across the breastplate, which he painted a deep black.[1]
Dueling
Erraniv is engaged by Adolin in a bout in the dueling arena, yet is teased there by his opponent on the field. He fights with the Blade previously belonging to Gavilar Kholin. Eventually, he is beaten by Adolin, who brings him down with a "lucky" blow at the end. Erraniv storms off, shouting about Adolin's luck.[1]
Due to his loss in the duel, Erraniv loses his Shardplate to Adolin.[1]
