The Council of Five are the ruling members of the Parshendi. Each of the Five is the elected leader of one of the currently recognized Parshendi forms of power (i.e., Dullform, Mateform, Nimbleform, Warform, Workform).[1] These members are as follows:
When Gavilar was assassinated, Klade was the prominent member of the Council of Five, though in just what form remains as yet unknown. When Eshonai brought news of her conversation with Gavilar to the Five, and after a frantic debate, the Five agreed that their course of action was to assassinate Gavilar for his intentions. Klade had a slave that was an assassin who would perform the deed.[2]
